You are invited to partner with the Hometown Prayer Mission!

Do you have a passion for prayer? For praying families, praying communities? Individuals growing in their prayer lives and in their relationship with God? Churches covered in prayer, so they can do what God is calling them to do?

The Hometown Prayer Mission is dedicated to helping individuals, families, churches, and communities grow in prayer. If you feel led to partner with this mission – thank you so much. For more information on partnering, please contact Janet Eriksson.

Please pray for this mission as well. Thank you. God bless you.

2 Chronicles 7:14: If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Luke 17:21: Nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Philippians 4:6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

If you watch a newscast or sit in a hospital emergency room, the world seems a daunting place, where everything is falling apart. If you focus on God, He paints a different picture.

Right this minute, God is moving mountains all around us, so people can come to salvation and live forever with Him. He has set His kingdom in our midst! All He asks is that we open our eyes to see it … to live in it … and to help others recognize who He really is. God has given us free will, so He doesn’t just invade by force. He created a way to move in this world that involves each one of us.

Through the prayers of each and every one of us, God transforms people’s hearts and lives daily, and establishes His kingdom in our midst.

Prayer is somewhat “invisible” to the human eye, though we can see the results of answered prayer. But it’s harder for us to be aware of how much prayer activity is going on all around us, and how it is charging and changing the atmosphere. If we could “see” prayer, it would look like the radio waves, infrared rays, magnetic and electronic pulses that constantly surround us, only it would be magnified off the charts.

Picture the most intense lightning storm you’ve ever seen, and that would barely reveal the dynamics of prayer happening in our midst right now.

Prayer is vital to every aspect of our lives, our relationship with God, the health of our families, the transformation of our communities and nations, and the salvation of individuals all over the world and in our hometown.

The Hometown Prayer Mission was created to listen and pray in intercession for what God is doing in our local communities, in our nation, and around the world.

The mission was also established to provide resources, teaching, and help in building prayer in families, homes, churches, and communities; and to train intercessors who God has placed in every city, family, church, and business.

With your help, we can raise a lightning storm of prayer cover, so God can transform our lives, our families, and our communities. Together, we can invite God to do literally everything He desires to do in our midst.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
